Agent Red - one of Austin's favorite performers and sweetest friend - had an accident that is fresh on our minds, as she took a spill performing ariel and broke both of her wrists. See a recent article

The barn of Albert Deloach - old friend of many (no, he's not old!) - at our beloved Enchanted Forest burned down and still needs our help to get the Forest back to it's former glory.

Tonja Drymon - a great friend of the community as well - got into a horrible scooter accident that she has recovered from, but not after racking up hospital bills that are leaving her struggling as a single mom.

October 14, 2010 What is New is New Again! A fashion show in Vienna
Vienna, Austria

Austin's favorite Eco-designer, Rene Geneva has been chosen to represent the Green Fashion Industry of the United States! She will give a presentation that highlights her efforts to keep her fashion business both fashion forward and on the cutting edge of true eco-awareness to fashion students of the pristine Schloss Hetzendorf Fashion School (in a palace, mind you) and release her 2011 women's contemporary and bridal line in a special fashion show at the Volkerkunde Museum in the heart of downtown Vienna October 13-14, 2010.

This is the first time the Embassy has decided to put on a show such as this to help "educate" the public in foreign countries regarding the efforts of citizens of the United States to help make our world a better place.

Karin Czerny, head of press for the Embassy in Austria, says they were "impressed with Rene's commitment to the environment and thought that Rene would make a great cultural Ambassador to Austria - to shine a light on what is being done in the fashion realm in the U.S. .... and she shows that you don't have to sacrifice beauty in design to be eco-friendly."

Rene was happy to present the 2010 award for the Best Designer to Dean Fredrick! On stage was a fashion show sneak preview of the collection that Rene is bringing to Vienna for the US Embassy Tour show!

The display below is Rene Geneva's "Solar-Living Dress". It is a hempsilk gown with vines grown down the train being watered by a solar-powered system in the umbrella!
