Scraps for Schools

Fabric Recycling

As a part of our increasing dedication to social responsibility, we have initiated the Scraps for Schools program. Our network, in Texas and beyond, ends up with many significant scraps of fabric that simply can not be used. These scraps are then donated locally to schools for use in art projects, etc.

Affiliated participants may be from any part of the country and include design studios, cut and sew facilities, fabric stores, and even costume and alteration shops. By joining our SFS program, we will work to set you up with a recipient in your area to receive scraps. You will have access to use the SFS logo and be included in our list of affiliate providers.

Affiliates include:
Louisiana State University's Apparel Design Club

Recipients may join our SFS program to be matched with an appropriate provider in your area according to your needs. We do require recipients to be an organization (for or non-profit) that works with children, elderly, or individuals with economic need in a program environment. Teachers, aftercare clubs, summer camps, recreation centers, and the like qualify.

If you would like to be a part of our SFS program either as an affiliated participant (giving away scraps) or a recipient, please download and fill out an application below.
